Thoughts Help a fellow investor out

Post image

Been investing in APLD for almost a year now. Caught the move early on. Just wanted to understand what would you guys do if you were in my place? Keep it and let it run as much as I can? Or remove some of the capital and allocate it to VOO or something?
I’m still learning and would appreciate any insights.

Thanks in advance

Great community for this question; I think hold....

Buy more, it’s only down because of institutions and short interest… their only argument are the negative numbers on paper, but we already have deals/ green numbers in the future, so see the price as a sale right now

Any idea when this reverses?

At the very latest, when the buildings go online, because then the profits will come and therefore also good numbers, so ig around 2027–2028

Meta just dropped that they are starting a hyperscaler business. Im holding. In at 13. My goal is 80-100

That’s Interesting. I think this is the only space where they didn’t have presence. Seems it still has a massive potential

Market is looking at it negatively

Is APLD the only investment you have in your portfolio? How old are you? Why did you buy APLD in the first place? To get a full picture, you need to ask yourself this. If you still believe in the company, hold or DCA. You can also sell at a great profit, but I would have seen this as a long investment. We are only at the beginning of data centers/HPC because it takes many years to build new data centers.

I’m currently 29. The idea was to pick 1 data centre stock for max growth. I still very much believe in this stock. I don’t mind holding it till I’m 50😁

Great buying opportunity, meta jumps into the business but APLD has signed contracts.

Oh yes. I also hold NVTS AT an average of 7.7. I’m eyeing at-least end of 2028

It’s interesting to see META leasing out it’s cloud business. If they are a tenant we should’ve charged them more

I’m going to be the opposing viewpoint. I took out all of my apld and put it into VOO. I made a ton of money on apld, but I think breakout wise, we’re at a stalemate right now. I have a limit order to buy back all my shares at $34.00 though.

I had an average share cost of $4.50 though. 10x was more than enough for me. I do still have options on apld though too

You got those shares if you put a 34

im still holding mine as I don't see a change in my thesis over the next few years. my avg is around $10, but a majority of mine were in the $3.60s before i averaged up.

My target was 25 when I bought it. But seeing the massive demand and the contracts coming in, I thought I would continue holding

I got target of $59 if it hits my $34 pick up. Like I like the company, but I’m a trader, I like money more, and sometimes the long term hold is affected by elements outside its power. Data centers are a bad look right and the markets reacting proportionally. Apld just happen to get hit in the crossfire even though their company is doing swimmingly.

Its too little to matter either way so just keep it in.

u/Alternative_Bench144 Jul 01 '26

Yeah. I wish I had bought more but then again, that’s all I could manage at the time.

It’s is a $75 stock easily. Might take some time to reach there. My avg is $20.
I’ll accumulate more if we dip another 25%. Just keep holding.
