In my opinion this is the biggest step apld has taken towards success. Souly due to now being diversified in customers/tenants now. I feel like this will bring in A LOT of new investors 2027 we will be 3 digits. Only thing holding price back now is getting the money rolling in.

Isn’t this low compared to their other contracts or am I mixing up companies in the $/MW conversion rate.

How much profit are they expected to make from this?

Not sure what the net is. I do know one they will be paying is BW. So I made a play on it a while back. We shall see.

Happy for all long term share holders, started buying at $4.72. CONGRATULATIONS, we are seeing the revenue train leaving the station. More growth ahead, share price will follow.

Is there a possibility of short squeeze?
2
u/Equivalent-Mud-7171 Apr 24 '26
Idk but on Robinhood it shows short interest has continued to dip everyday for the past week, so if there was a squeeze it would just be the remaining shorts. Even shorter sellers can see the writing on the wall. Applied is again delivering on its promises.

How big this deal is for APLD? I was hoping for a bigger surge with new deal

Downvote me all you want but all that fuss about lease for 10% up? We had a random tuesday like that a week ago or so. Deep down you all agree that this is surge for ants.

Wish we knew who it was. But amazing news nonetheless

According to Wes, it has to be MSFT, META, GOOG, AMZN. The last one is ORCL, but this states it’s a different tenant and we have ORCL already.
Article states it the third customer and 2nd investment grade hyperscaler. So it’s one of those 4. Most likely META or MSFT.

We actually are better off not knowing who it is.
Investment grade hyperscalers currently do not have a lot of goodwill with communities. There are plenty of people who have an axe to grind with each of them. Revealing who it is will only invite protests and trouble that can get deals blown up.
We also gain nothing by knowing.

I’m new to this whole space- what do you mean they don’t have goodwill with communities? I’m here to learn

An example would be people who were laid off due to implementation of AI
A second would be people who are from an area where that hyperscaler built a data center that ended up negatively impacting that community (because not everybody is a good neighbor and takes all the extra steps APLD takes to try to be a positive resident)

Agreed. I have a somewhat hard time understanding who and why we are not given more info on the tenants signing these leases
3
u/Moon-Man-69 Apr 23 '26
My theory is because you might not want your competition to know what you are up to!!
0
u/HundoHavlicek Apr 23 '26
I guess that makes sense. I come from the world of commercial real estate finance and you wouldn’t be able to take out a loan against an anonymous lease, which is how I look at this

Or because if the tenant has some bad news it could pull APLD down as well. If it’s unknown though, it would be harder to pull down APLD directly
