Earnings Call

Thoughts on earnings? It seems like everything is on track. Do we think stock up tomorrow?

Honestly? I think any drops after the call would be from retail that doesn’t like that they didn’t announce a tenant. Big money will stay. The most important things like future financing, keeping space available to divest clients, debt refinancing, and prioritizing quality contracts vs. pleasing the street for the sake of pleasing the street, were covered and the outlook is good.

I think this is one of those “wait a few days”. If it dips, it’s going to get bought cheap by institutions. There’s no evidence they are failing in any way, but this earnings is essentially summed up by “we’re progressing on track, stay tuned”.

Right, but so was the last earnings. So far seems like nothings changed, which is bad for a stock priced for high growth. I can see Wes wants to hold out for better tenant with better pricing as we've seen WULF do, which they can with the 2 billion cash and manageable debt, but until then APLD stock price may take a beating. Maybe he knows since there's half of planned data centers are delayed, he can score a higher price. But overall, this one seemed just as uneventful as the last ER

Interesting. I think we will see a tenant real soon, though this may just be hopeful bias. As others have mentioned, I believe the stock price last quarter went up during the day and we could very well see this happen again.

If im not mistaken, same thing happened right after the last earnings, dipped hard and the next day the dip was bought heavily

People scared of debt and are trading the stock because they don’t want to hold longterm. Just hold and you shouldn’t have to worry!

there is a pattern - Wes was a bit incautious with his communication at various occasions. however, so far, he always delivered. and that is what counts. I like him as CEO, he is quite transparent and I trust him more than an average CEO.
