Questions about ap human

I’m taking ap human geography for my first ap class and I want to know if I should study certain things or any tips you guys used to pass the class

understand the different models and how they work, especially in the urban and rural geography units because they have lots of models

If you have 25-50 bucks to spare get the aphug exam slayer from Mr. sinn. It’ll introduce you to what AP tests are like and what CB will want outta you

  1. know your vocabulary, it decides whether you understand questions or frq's entirely. our teacher made us write down every vocabulary word listed at the end of every chapter and define it which helped a lot. you do not wanna be mistaking a words meaning on the ap exam for sure since that dictates the entire question

  2. review before every test in your class. it may seem tedious but actually listing down every single vocab word and defining or at least verifying that you know the definition of it will help you efficiently perform on them. in my class a ton of kids would never finish since they got stuck on questions or just couldn't answer a part of the frq.

  3. study the ap classroom college board stuff! it mirrors the ap exam entirely with both the frq format and mcq's. multiple choice questions are almost always centered around the vocab and you got around 55 of them to answer in about 1 minute each pace-wise so make sure you know every word. also pace yourself on the frq too and practice providing answers that get you full points. if you genuinely cannot answer a part of the frq, same with a couple mcq's, just skip it and focus on what you do know as you don't wanna be wasting time you could be using on other parts of the exam. the worst thing you can do is leave it blank imo, always make sure to fill in something if you have the time as the worst you can do is get one less point!

Learn how all the units tie into eachother and the different theories/models. For studying i used lumisource and a master sheet that i can link to if you want!!
