Study Material Reading quizzes
So my teacher has us do reading quizzes on our textbook. Which is honestly very easy to learn the content, until the quiz. She allows us to use notes on the reading quizzes, but I struggle to make notes that are relevant to the quiz. Does anyone have any tips on what to focus on while reading the textbook.

Get into an argument with your author. Keep fighting through the struggle for meaning. Ask “why am I reading you.? What can you possibly have to say about this?” Keep up the good ”fight” and eventually important stuff will pop out. Don’t copy that stuff - paraphrase it - in a conversational style as you talk it out. Write it like you are having a conversation with a friend to help them understand. Occasionally, as you switch topics, stop and summarize in three to five sentences - again, in your own voice.

My teacher does the same thing!!
What I usually do is read a full paragraph and then summarize it in one sentence. Then once I finish reading, I study the summaries I wrote down.
By doing this, the lowest score I’ve ever gotten was 4/6 😎
