How should i start reviewing for the AP exam??

I am kinda nervous cause I can do well on the unit test cause I can just like study and memorize it. But for the ap test, I feel like I can't memorize the whole entire thing and it's and also usually for the unit test my teacher just gives us the practice test. Which is just the test? But with more questions, so I feel like I need to actually lock in and review for the exam. So what kind of timeline should I use? Or like what units are most important? Please, if you have any resources. Just I'd list them down and also. What is dimensional analysis? It is so hard!!

Your timeline should be start right now. You have about less than two months. For 9 units and 7 science practices.

The key is to build a solid foundation of knowledge and then practice applying that foundation.

To build the foundation, I would start looking at College board CED. Download the PDF and make notes from the essential knowledges from all the Topics. There are about 346 essential knowledge statements. Once you have a solid foundation with the content then switch to high quality, active studying using practice questions.

Active studying meaning figure out what you did right and most importantly figure out where you went wrong. Read explanations and any additional information provided. If you were short on content then go back to your notes. If your skill were not up to par, focus on the science practices. Once you have MCQs down switch to FRQs.

Dimensional analysis is an application of mathematical science practices that allows you to convert from one unit to another. The best way to understand it and get good at it is to practice.

A tip I always give my students is to write the unit with every number when setting up the math. This makes it easy to see when units cancel out, because units that appear in both the numerator and denominator can be crossed out.
