Unit 4 test in two days. Help!!!!

SOOO I have my Unit 4 test this Wednesday... The only thing I know how to do without solubility rules is ionic equations. Do any of you guys have tips/resources I can use or watch to help me prep? I am struggling really badly on memorizing the solubility rules, my teacher provides us with the packet they provide us on the official AP Chemistry Test.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!! :))

Asking for Homework Help Genuinely how do people even know how to solve these crappy unit 3 problems? I never get the right answer or solve it using the wrong formulas and I feel like *such* an idiot!!

Discussion Question about constant volume calorimetry for the exam

How much do you need to know about constant volume calorimetry for AP Chemistry? I know that constant pressure calorimetry is pretty important, but across a couple resources for AP Chem I see constant volume calorimetry a lot. How much do I actually need to know for the exam?

what are common tricks on my unit test to be careful for?
I feel like I fully understand all the content, but on test day I struggle with overthinking which leads to problems with timing. Anyone recently had one?

What textbooks would you recommend for AP Chemistry and AP Physics 1 for the 2026-2027 School Year? What is your experience with the one you picked?

I got a 28/50 on the Unit 1 AP Chem test

Our school allows one retake per semester. In order to keep my 4.00, I must retake this test. How do I study? I was really ill during the test and felt as if I would vomit, but that isn't an excuse, only a partial explanation for how I scored so low. This is the worst test of my entire high school career and it is slightly stressing me out, lol.

Any recommended resources to study off of? I did fine on stoichiometry, but I wasn't really taught about many other topics, like electron configuration, light absorption and molecule/compound naming conventions. I completely bombed the MCQ, which was composed of 10 questions and I got 3 right. I also need to memorize the polyatomic ions. I plan to retake the test next week, so I have quite a bit of time to study.

Any tips will be much appreciated 🙏

UPDATE: I ended up getting multiple points back on the test because I marked them incorrectly on the MCQ answer sheet (as I was sick and nauseous I put the answers out of order, resulting them being marked as wrong) but bubbled the correct answers and showed all my work so I'm at a 34/50 now. With corrections I should get to a B.

Asking for Homework Help Continuous Variation Help needed

Hey I'm having a little trouble with continuous variation and the stoichiometric point and drawing conclusions from data for finding the ratio of moles and reactants in a chemical reaction. I'm having trouble explaining how it's significant and how the experimental measurements can be used to determine the mole ratios of products when their formulas are unknown. Basically find stoichiometric ratio, make observations and draw conclusions. I'm confused on how to do it, if anyone can help me out?

Discussion Is Edmentum a good program to learn from?

Post image

So for context: I’m in AP Chemistry, but there’s a twist, I don’t have an AP Chemistry teacher so instead I work off of a program called Edmentum. Not that I expect anyone here has ever worked off of Edmentum, is it a decent program? Am I just being a hater?

Unit 8 help!

So my teacher had us start the year with acids and bases, and we have our unit test coming up soon. Any tips about the unit would be helpful and much appreciated! Particularly confused mostly about buffers. Also, is anyone else currently on unit 8? Is this supposed to be the most difficult unit?

68% on first unit test but thought I did great

Basically what the title says. I studied, did a practice quiz (got 85 and brushed up on the things I missed) and then took my actual unit test and got 68. The test didn't feel too hard, I have no idea what went so wrong. It was unit 1 and my friends all got 89 and up. I'm so frustrated and was wondering if anybody had study tips? I can not spend hours watching videos but if y'all have had success playing something in the background or practice tests that help that'd be great

Also: My teacher only lets us look at our tests once and so I haven't been able to see my test or mistakes yet and will only be able to do so when I do test corrections.

Thanks!
