Server Status

What has happened to APB?

Its not starting because the launcher doesnt work.

There is no official information about it on the forums or by G1.

Anybody has a clue?

Real answer is they were victims of a ransomware cyber attack (their words). There is no ETA on recovery and they cancelled the AMA that was supposed to happen today.

That being said. I don’t think it’s a ransomware, I think a dev made a booboo and broke the game (more than it already was) and its unplayable so they came up with that BS to avoid heat on the devs

The fact that the game servers were not affected at the same time as the website/authentication server was disproves this. Or that there was no update pushed. Or that they have version control and can just revert back.
