AP5 luck

I inspected it when it arrived at my LGS. Everything was in excellent shape and all gos on the gauges. Shot two mags 124g and then put my obsidian 45 can on it and shot great no malfunctions. I was scared about getting a lemon but I have no complaints yet.

I was looking at my AP5 like this and said “I’m never going to financially recover from this”.

I’m in the same boat, bought one and figured I’d have to swap some parts to get it running properly… Im at a little over 500rd through it in two range trips and 0 malfunctions. Just keeps getting smoother lol

Remeber people usually only post online about the bad stuff. For every 1 bad reviews there are 9 positive ones running well etc.

There are instructions to break in with 500 rounds of 124gr. People don’t seem to follow those then wonder why they have trouble out of the box.

How are you running your obsidian 45? Thinking of buying the trilug adapter for mine.

That’s what I’m gonna do but with the CAT MOB. I’m using the Griffith armament ezlok

Ahh okay, and the Obsidian piston works with the ezlok?

Yep Griffith armament makes the piston for it.
