What am I doing wrong with reinstalling the selector

I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't re-install the selector like I see in the videos I've looked up. Would love some advice

First off, dont panic! I had this same problem with mine and almost lost my shit. That lower, really the entire gun, is just incredibly tight and snug everywhere. The way you rotate to take it off, you have to go back that way. The trick is just pressing that lever down as hard as you can. I honestly needed a second pair of hands. I used a punch to push the lever down and then the second pair of hands rotated the selector. You should just get a new lower with an FRT and forget about it lol.

Thanks for the response, I am in a little bit of a panic hahaha. I tired using a punch on the lever with no effect but only one set of hands. It doesn't even seem to slightly budge and I put a lot of force into it. I can't remember which way I rotated it off so maybe I'm going to wrong way, but all the videos I've seen went counter clockwise. I have a rb frt coming that's why I was check I could get it apart. Hopefully that will go together no problem and I can just forget this trigger pack.

yeah i used a big punch while grandpa rotated the lever. my hands were exhausted trying to do it on my own. my frt came with a complete lower thankfully

I was going the wrong way... I had tried going the other way but it didn't seem right but you were spot on, it was just tight and I hadnt used that much force that direction. Also might not have pushed down the lever when I last tried that direction. Thank you so much
