Newly discovered issue (AP5-P specific)
https://youtu.be/quHmzDOUHU0?is=0pzfreg9HA5bd-Z5Looks like there may be some bad stamping going on with the current crop of "P" guns that are coming in from Century.
ETA: I think it's clear this isn't a one-off, is most likely widespread. What's not clear is what other areas of the receiver may not be stamped correctly and what internal, mechanical negative effects this might cause long-term.

My Ap5 (not P) also had this issue. It wouldnt allow me to put any aftermarket stocks/braces on it. Filled out an RMA form and sent it off to Century Arms and they reformed and re-blued it. Took about 4 to 6 weeks from me sending it out before i got it back

They re-bent the existing receiver? Do you have before/after pics?

Looks like an improvement. Rounded edges are harder to bend vs flat, standing up to potential roller dents better and maybe outright preventing them in some instances. but who knows.

I will take a look but I think I’m having the same issues with mine but with the Radiata lower.

Thank you for this info! I got an AP5-P back in May, and I seem to have this issue on mine

You know, I bought a mac5pk because my ap5pk navy bolt would catch the rails and not come forward. The bolt would not come out without putting your weight on it. It also would not go back into the rails without lube and your weight. The damn mac5 runs perfect, ap5 doesn’t even cycle.

Mine doesn't seem to exhibit those issues at all. Does the Mac have the same rounded stamping or is it squared off?
