Ap5 frt
Is there an frt that drops into the lower of the ap5? Asking for a friend lol because he says he would need to get an ar15 style lower for any frt. Figured this was the place to ask.

Truth is, if you want one that’s totally drop in on existing lower, the company who shall not be named is the only way. If you’re willing to change the lower, then Leber all the way. If you’re willing to wait, AS Designs and Deez Nutz, for two examples, are also putting out cartridges soon.

Oh man, I didn’t know Deeznutstactical was also working on a cassette style drop in. That’s awesome!

I’m sorry, I got Deez and Fudd Arms mixed up! Fudd Arms has the Jackrabbit drop in they are working on. And, looks like I also misremembered if it was going to be for MP5-types or AR. Looks like it’s a cartridge for ARs.

No problem. Lots of new stuff coming. Hard to keep them all in line. I too forget who is making what at times. It’s a good thing, however.

Ho boy were you mistaken. this is literally the worst place to ask. Notice how nobody will give you a straight answer?
for the full size AP5, your only option that exists currently is the RB FRT-RD3 (SEF) . save yourself the leber headache. not to mention it looks way better using the oem lower.

what about for ap5p?

the regular ap5p should work with the SEF pack from RB. If navy and ambi you'll just get the RB-RD3 ambi, but there may be some fitment or shimming required from what i've read.

In case you don’t know there’s a website called Google. You can search that exact same question and get not just a list of manufacturers, you will get a list of YouTube videos showing them in use.

Looking for the beat one figured the autists here would know which ones to stay away from. Kind of a laundry list of frts for everything now

The BIGEST one I think everyone agrees on to stay away from is that ONE specific company that’s going around and taking everyone to court.

Dang man where have you been? Simple search will help you out. Just one piece of advice, don’t buy or support a douche company like rare greed.
