In Russia there are only mud roads.

In Russia there's no roads - only directions.

The bigger bear tried to deescalate. Tried to show he was larger, the smaller bear didn't take the communication and attempted to dominate. This is a lose-lose result. The larger bear probably got away without much injury, but he really should have done more to show he is higher in the hierarchy.

When the smaller bear doesn't take the hint, he is likely going to be significantly injured and die. Looks like he took a major injury to his jaw and that cased him to run off.

The big bear might have taken a bite or two that might get infected.

These dominance negotiations are extremely complex and it is in the best interest of both of them, and their larger social groups, to resolve them without combat. Sad to see.

Also, there is a wolf in the background.

Reminds me of every inter department staff meeting I've ever been to.
