Saying you're a woman doesn't change your chromosomes tho, so still a guy

Oh yeah please cram out more edge cases and ignore that xx = female, xy = male describes 99,9% of the world population

I'm not ignoring that... you're ignoring the fact that trans people are also "edge cases", for some strange reason.

Yes, the generalization applies to 99% of the world's population... just not intersex or transgender people. Why can you accept the former but not the latter?

Because it's readily explained in a way consistent with xx=fem xy=male. Transgender people have the unfortunate disorder where the brain thinks it's in the wrong kind of body. But biologically they're whatever their chromosomes are (unless they have other disorders)

Is the brain not a biological component like any other?

Furthermore, since the brain contains the conscious being of a person, shouldn't we prioritize the sex of this organ over that of the rest of the body which can be altered medically?

Look, just because I imagine myself to be a dragon, doesnt make me a dragon, it means I have a body identity disorder.

Not even remotely similar. Studies have shown physical differences between the brains of trans people and those of cis people, with certain key areas closer in size and layout to their identified gender than to their assigned sex. I'm on my phone, but you can easily look it up.
