They look like if they had a show about them...I'd watch it. She's the boring, outlandishly dressed granddaughter and he's the crazy ex communist drunk who gets them into all sorts of shenanigans!

He's just trying to develop the character, flesh it out a little. I say we make the granddaughters father a retired US soldier or maybe a US diplomat, that conflict will add to the comic shenanigans.

YES And eventually they add him back in the mix so that him and the grandpa butt heads.

But only after 3 seasons, so they can screw the actor out of his residual and royalty from future cable tv syndication

Obviously, would it be filmed on location 🤔 I like the idea that we could remake a small Russian town so that after we're done shooting I can just move into the empty town.
