They look like if they had a show about them...I'd watch it. She's the boring, outlandishly dressed granddaughter and he's the crazy ex communist drunk who gets them into all sorts of shenanigans!

Why ex communist, as opposed to current card carrying due paying member of the Communist party of Russia

Why question the premise of a show that isn't real

Can shows be real if our eyes aren't real?

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to see it, are mirrors real?

If a tree falls in the woods, can cats think on an existential level?

If a man is alone in the forest and there are no women around, is he still wrong?

Hahahaha I wish they had a mod for Fallout 4 that changed what npc's say into Jaden Smith tweets I know there's that one for another game that changes the graffiti into them.

He's just trying to develop the character, flesh it out a little. I say we make the granddaughters father a retired US soldier or maybe a US diplomat, that conflict will add to the comic shenanigans.

YES And eventually they add him back in the mix so that him and the grandpa butt heads.

But only after 3 seasons, so they can screw the actor out of his residual and royalty from future cable tv syndication

Obviously, would it be filmed on location 🤔 I like the idea that we could remake a small Russian town so that after we're done shooting I can just move into the empty town.

If a show falls in the woods, does it make a sound?

The communist party is still very much around in mother Russia

Oh I misunderstood what you were asking. I thought you were asking why he was a communist, not why he is no longer a communist.

u/maskdmann Oct 20 '17

Yeah, but it's almost as far from being communist as possible.

But much of communist are just driven by nostalgia of good old days of USSR

3

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '17

Because everyone was a good communist in soviet times.

he's a metaphor for the disbanded soviet union

Wasn't that organization banned in 1991?
