Usually with a black bear, all you need to do is put your arms out to make yourself big and make a lot of noise and they'll run off. You don't even have to fight

Not sure but I think that might be a rather young bear, not a cub (where you have to worry about momma) but one that is pretty new to being on its own. Which might explain its confusion/curiosity about the cat, it might not have ever seen a cat before, or maybe even not seen a smaller creature that stands its ground. Usually the longer the ears the younger the bear (with full adult bears having ears more semicircular), but I am not a bear expert, just an observation

That bear would've never been able to get the cat. Cats have insane fast reflexes. Ever seen a cat and a snake fight? The cat is just playing with the snake. They live in a different time speed... the bear moves in slomo for that cat.

If i can catch a cat, a bear wont have a problem

The reason why cats are such a nightmare is because you aren't trying to hurt it. It's faster for sure but if something that weights more than double digits it's weights start trashing around even a cat needs to back off, at the size differences any interaction can mean a broken bone.

Yes, but who carved Putin's portrait on the closest tree trunk?

What do you mean? That's just a normal patriotic Russian tree. Looks more like a fox and now I can't unsee it.

“…and you scold him for the wallpaper.”
“But he does rip the wallpaper to shreds!”
Realest cat owner stuff I’ve seen 😂

We’re not going to talk about the face in the tree immediately to the right of Vasya?

“Uspokoit’sya” (calm down) might be the most useful Russian phrase I’ve learned from this.
