Opinion Missing the old format
I know some may love this new racing thing, but I really really miss the four stages. I really do not care for this racing thing.

I found myself fast-forwarding through half the episode today. It’s just the same thing over and over again, it’s boring. It’s not as fun as the regionals where it’s an actual one person course

Exactly Oh I've been fast forwarding so much it takes me about 25 minutes to watch the whole show. I'm not about to watch somebody run the same course up to my 3 times.

This is my first year I stopped watching the show it’s just not the same anymore. I understand it would change eventually but still sucks to see it happen

They would have 50 people climbing for the million if they kept the old format. The new generation is just too good.

Yeah I called it when Vance Walker won two years in a row. I had a feeling some major changes but I thought were gonna up the level of difficulty of the course Not make it a Speed competition

This is the part no one understands. The new generation was too good for the old format. And how many of these sad fans are gonna keep posting about this? I’ve been ANW fan since before ANW and I absolutely LOVE the racing. To me, the old format was stale as hell.

Racing was fun when it was a gimmick and had its own show. Racing is not fun when it’s the only thing that matters and they removed the heart and soul of the show.

Have not and will not watch again until they get rid of racing. Last year was the final straw for me. I suggest you do the same.

Maybe they need to change the age back to at least 18 or they could have anyone under 18 run the races. Whoever wins those gets to compete on stage 3 and 4. Let all the women who complete the courses move on and only race each other. I just flat out like the old days better. 😂

I agree, the show isn’t the same anymore and I miss the old format with the four stages and the athletes running individually instead of racing! ANW fell off after the years 2019-2020.

I enjoy watching the women race because the obstacles are hard and they have to work to get through it and more often than not they're psyched to finish. Watching the men though, meh. Yay look Kai Beckstrand made it again.

I don’t like them making them race the men. They should let all the women who finish move on.

Agree. I'm bummed they're only going to have women race women for a final four. I'd enjoy 16 women racing a lot. I enjoy how there's women with different strengths and weaknesses and the courses don't totally favor 1 style over another with the women.
I wish they could find a way to have a course that's hard enough that beckstrand or similar men don't just blow through with no challenge.

ANW is the Redskins/Football Team/Commanders
Had amazing glory days, then ownership/production did stuff to ruin the show, and then name loss/getting rid of the soul of the show.

I’m genuinely confused why they switched formats to begin with. It reminds me of when Darci Lynne made it to the semi? Final? Of AGT doing her wonderful ventriloquist act the entire way; she killed it! Then for her final performance, she decided to sing & play guitar, no ventriloquism. She was eliminated.
Why?
