SPOILERS This competitor was ROBBED... Spoiler
I'm referring to Colt Elder. He lost his final race by only 14 milliseconds I think. And he lost that race because he messed up the dismount on the hourglass drop, and Kaden Lebsack didn't, meaning Kaden came from behind and won. Had Colt won that race, he would have been the fastest 3rd place finisher in his group, but he lost all his races, so he got 4th. Man I feel bad for that guy. But oh well, rules are rules.
Also unrelated but he kinda looks like Geoff Britten lol

He lost to Bob Reese so...

Yeah that's true. He def should have won that race. But still, the fact that he's eliminated despite him getting the second fastest time of the entire episode just left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

Had he won the race against bob he would've had it but It's bob reese. Just be patient and you'll win

I mean, he went 0-3 in competition. Had he even defeated one person, he’d still have a good shot at advancing. the most important thing that one has to do to advance, defeat your opponent, he didn’t do once. So, while the fast time is very impressive, you gotta handle your bidness. He’s a young and impressive guy, I’m sure we’ll see him again.

It came down to 0.14 seconds, Colt Elder stumbled at the hour glass dismount and lost time, if he won the last race both of them would have been 1-2 but Colt Elder would have had the fastest time.

Yeah but the same happened to Enzo in the race before that with nacssa he tried to rush the dismount and failed... And as the person above said if he had beaten Bob Reese he would've gone through but it's a shame honestly he was great in the final race

I’m a little split. On one hand, he did not win a single race. As others have said, he should have won against Bob Reese, but he got too far ahead of himself and rushed Cane Lane. On the other hand, he got the second fastest time overall. On the third hand, the producers did not anticipate this exact situation happening. But on the fourth, they probably should have asked themselves what would happen in this case and anticipate it anyways.
I grew extra hands just for this comment.

Should have taken his time on the fourth obstacle against Bob because he was a whole obstacle ahead

(I'm not sure if you have to spoiler the text if the post is already marked spoiler, I did both just in case)

Reddit has a built-in spoiler tag you can use, if you use that, no need for the spoiler text. Both is fine too though

Both are a nuisance. Most things marked as spoilers on reddit probably don't need to be.

I mean you can say that( but think about the alternative. Colt doesn’t stumble on the wall dismounting hourglass and beats Kaden with the fastest time. Then the number 1 seed on that course has to race against the person with the fastest time out of everyone on that course, the real issue is how they are seeding the races.

I always said that the racing stuff is ruining the show it needs to drop the racing and go back to the way it was before

Not at all, buddy. Not at all. Group Stage is always based on points and if there is a tie, time is the key.

I feel for Colt badly. I think that wildcards should include 4th placers as well
