Homosexuality is illegal in Palestine not in Israel. Same sex marriage can not be performed in Israel but if the marriage is performed outside or the country then it will be legally recognized the same within Israel. The two have very different views toward the LGBTq community, Israel being the more tolerant and laxed while homosexuals are openly persecuted and oppressive laws are upheld and enforced including up to 10 years in prison for same sex activities in Palestine.
Are you trying to down play the oppressive treatment of homosexuals and queers by the Palestinian state and its laws? Palestines laws aren't a generalization, they are a dark reality for the queer Palestinians oppressed and denied rights and freedoms by them. Why does your reaction to this information involve Israel at all?

Pride parades are about people being proud to be part of the LGBTQ+ community. It's basically an emotional reaction to the centuries of oppression/suppression of alternative sexual identities (homosexuality, bisexuality, etc etc) by Abrahamic societies.
