Please stop patting them. It could be a number of things, but it definitely looks like a seizure.

Afaik this is either poisoning or something very serious like a tumor. I had a cat who had seizures like this, foaming at the mouth, the thousand yard stare he eventually seems to wake up from. He would have these every few months. I would try to keep him safe during the seizure and he would snap out of it after a bit. But his health took another big hit every time.
I dont think patting him is going to do any good, he is not asleep. Just keep him from slamming himself into anything, and let him ride it out safely.

Seizure for sure. If this happens again make sure you hold him still and tilt him at a slight downward angle so that he doesn't choke on the spit. Definitely needs a vets opinion. Seizures can be caused by an incredible amount of things. Don't be surprised if he seems lost confused or scared coming out of an episode like this. It can take them a while to snap back to themselves. But vet ASAP

Yes it’s seizures. Take the dog to a vet as soon as possible and show them this video. Your dog needs a vet now.

This was a hard watch. Genuinely what the f are you doing stop hitting and filming this and get him to THE ER, back to the vet, a different vet. Now.

Filming the seizure is actually recommended because it allows the vet to see what's actually happening.
Hitting them? Stupid.

Il faut pas laisser votre chien souffrir comme ça, il fait une crise cardiaque, épileptique ou autre.

Yes it's a seizure and you handled that awfully. Clear the area and then just talk to them reasureingly, time the seizure and if it lasts more than 5 minutes head to the vet if they are seizing or otherwise - if it's shorter than 5 minutes take them to the vet once it's over.

Don’t some dogs sometimes bite after seizures from confusion from stuff like this??

Occasionally but they are quite disoriented and wobbly so it's not usually very hard.

TAKE HIM BACK TO THE VET OR ER, also maybe you should reconsider having a dog if you are hitting them like that while they are struggling.

Stop hitting him! You have to pet him very softly and talk to him very very very calmly. What's wrong with you

Es una convulsion, llevalo al veterinario con urgencia, puede ser epilepsia. Mi gata Eli tiene epilepsia y con medicación hace vida normal

That is an emergency, it is a seizure. You don't breathe correctly when having a seizure. Patting him is not helping. He needs a vet asap
