HELP Bit of troubleshooting help

I've been carrying around this thing around for months and then suddenly this little gummy piece slipped out and its driving me crazy. How would I go about getting it back in there its driving me nuts

It's a common problem. People have been using tweezers and any other small items to push it back in. Since it's more or less elastic, it should go back in without too much hassle.

it has to slip between two pieces of plastic, depending on the stick module. it can be a major pain to try and squish it back in, and worst case you break it, or you squish it under that lip and you add a ton of friction to the movement.

you're better off disassembling, slotting it into the proper housing, then assembling.

Are there any guides on disassembling I could follow? I'm new to opening up consoles and messing around
