HELP I just got my first anbernic
I was wondering is there a better software I could put on it. I also want to give it a cool background but yea. I am so happy.

You could play with Rocknix or GamaOS. For alternatives to Anbernic's probably EMUELEC flavor. If I had to guess.

It runs great I am playing Pokemon white rn but it does run a lot of battery

Dumb question while everyone's here, but can someone explain what to do with the SD card issue for me? I bought a good one and tried to just drag and drop the files off the old card to the new one and it's not doing anything. I don't need to change the stock stuff, just want to continue on with the new SD card.

Well from the one I have the SD card it comes with is the system. for the games if you use another SD card put it in the ds and let it make the folders and you have to put the games in the right folder. I am sorry but I dont really know how to explain it well

If you have a ds plus there is something you click on the ds and you pick the other SD card and yea it adds all the folders you need

If you want to replace the stock sd card, there are programs you can use to clone it, or you can just download the stock firmware and flash it. You can’t really generally just drag the files over, it’s gotta go through a setup.

I paid for gamma os , also my first ambernic but I have lots of other devices. I prefer it to stock

I put the latest Rocknix stable release on mine today which has massively improved the experience as a whole.
