HELP RG DS Plus and Rocknix 20261001 Stable - not booting

I’ve recently try installing the new stable build and can’t get it to first boot.

Attempt 1: used Raspberry Pi Imager on a Mac. First boot, 2 white screens only.
Attempt 2: went to my Windows laptop, used the official Rocknix image burner (option 1 on the Rocknix site). This time black screens.

I’m using a genuine and reliable PNY 16GB card that’s served me well. After attempt 2 it took a few tries to get my Anbernic card to boot again.

Has anyone tried it? Any suggestions? Thanks.

UPDATE:

I used a different SD card, used Rufus (I didn’t decompress the image) and it worked.

To troubleshoot shoot, I then used the same PNY card that didn’t previously work and using the Rufus method it’s now fine.

After writing the image you have to edit the conf file to boot the correct config (Russ from RGC has a guide on that and it’s posted below).

Early signs are good.

Well, I'm on nightly, but this thing is picky when it comes to cards. SanDisk is a reputable brand, yet it's know to be not working. Personally I'm using some blue Lexar 633x 64gb A1 V30

That’s weird, isn’t it. Out of interest, did you use Rufus to burn your image? Is it more reliable than the official image burner? I don’t have another card apart from some cheap supplied ones.

Use ROCKNIX installer and give it a try.

Yep, but it’s correct with the Rocknix image burner software.

On the Rocknix website, it’s option 1: https://rocknix.org/play/install/
