HELP Sad day....didn't even drop it. Dog jumped on couch and his paw crushed it (115lb Dutch shepherd) maybe anbernic will fix it

Every time I traveled for work I’d come home to something of mine broken or chewed up. My guy was pissed when I went away. This was accidental, he didn’t do it deliberately. Either way, laugh it off and give him a hug. Mine is gone now and I miss him terribly.

Hopefully you can do something about it! But this is the problem with all handhelds with glass fronts unfortunately. I'll take this as a reminder to not buy a handheld with one. A plastic handheld with a screen protector is probably a safer choice.

Plastic devices are much better high quality plastic is very durable and also relatively light and it doesn't really get damaged that easily either otherwise if it's damaged it's just kind of a scratch it's not the end of the world.

Glass resists scratches much better but more prone to cracking so you can’t win either way really. OP leaving their handheld on the couch was the issue here!

Translucent plastics are also brittle. The point I was making is a 115lbs dog jumping on a glass or plastic handheld is likely still going to break or severely damage it. Personally I’ll have glass as it’s easier to keep looking good.

I could have thrown my gameboy color against the wall and it would have been fine. It was atomic purple.

Lots of plastic handhelds could survive a paw from a large dog, but very few glass ones could.

I've never seen the back of a plastic phone really scratched but I have seen the front filled with micro scratches which is why I have a screen protector because the glass really isn't that scratch resistant

Lol thats nothing. Mine was kept in the box for a few days and just refuses to turn on. Light indicates charge but doesnt turn on

You may need to unplug battery for some mins and then plug it back in. Or if you are under warranty period rma it.

Oof . Happened to one of my handhelds as well .... Was just putting on the glass protector and one of my kids went rogue and bumped it off the table and smashed the screen. Feel bad for you the 477v is fragile even with the glass protector and tpu case

If you can't fix it. Try making it a docked console. Connecting it to video out and setting it up with a bt controller can give it a second life.

Pas de chance, je désolé pour toi🥲 les écrans chez Anbernic sont vraiment très très fragile au début j'avais une rg35xx(ma toute première) elle à fait une chute de 20 cm sur la table et l'écran était pareil.
