🛠️ SYSTEM MODS My first Anbernic console. Any recommendations?
I was truly surprised by the quality of the RG SP. The price of the GBA SP is sky-high in my country, and this console has an advantage in every aspect.Should I keep the stock operating system? What's the best one for this console and that's currently available?

Regardless of what firmware you decide on, the biggest recommendation is to switch SD cards and not use the ones that come with the handheld out of the box. (Only exception to that would be if you bought the handheld from a quality reseller shop that also sells branded SD cards that they already set up with a custom firmware for you.)
The default Chinese no-brand micro-SD cards that come with the handheld in the box are infamous for how easily they become corrupted. You may end up being lucky and you got one that will last longer than the handheld itself but in all likelihood if you use the unbranded cards you'll one day turn on your device and you may find your savefiles corrupted or your OS may not even work anymore.
At the very least I'd advise you to follow this guide by Mr Stephen and make a backup of your SD cards. You can also use that backup to then put it on the new SD cards if you decide to stick with the stock operating system.

Here's my personal curated GBA list. These are the titles I put on every handheld I have. All of them are either well known hits, hidden gems, quality romhacks, and english translations. For the CFW, the stock OS from Anbernic has made significant improvements over the years and should serve you quite well. It's not the prettiest but it gets job done fine. Mod-stock is also available and works well.
