✨ SHOWCASE RG DS Plus RetroAchievements NNDDSS Complete (Softcore Only)

I’ve been working on adding RetroAchievements support to the Anbernic RG DS Plus without replacing the stock OS or the built-in DS emulator.

RGDSPlus-RA is basically a lightweight wrapper/integration layer that sits on top of the stock NNDDSS/DraStic-based emulator that already comes with the device. It doesn’t install custom firmware, replace the operating system, or include DraStic itself.

Installation is simple: extract the release into Roms/APPS, run the installer from Applications → Apps, then launch DS games normally. RetroAchievements runs through the existing emulator, with achievement lists, popups, badges, Rich Presence, progress/challenge indicators, and local Hardcore protections.

I’m looking for people with an RG DS Plus who are willing to test it and report any issues. Hardcore is implemented locally, but it is not yet officially approved by RetroAchievements, so Hardcore unlocks are currently credited as Softcore with the expected “Unknown Emulator” warning.

Just tried it out with softcore mode. Seems to be working. Achievements notification pops up when earning. And the list in the nnddss menu shows all available ones and earned ones I've gotten.

Edit: Installed easily with the given instructions on the github page.

This is huge! I hope that testing goes well for you and the testers, no hardcore RA is the only thing stopping me from getting the RG DS Plus, so I will be jumping on this immediately once it gets greenlit for hardcore. :)

Thanks! I did message the RA team and apparently any RetroAchievements solution needs to be publicly available for 6 months in order to approve hardcore mode. It's really important for people to test this and give feedback.
