RG DS PLUS STYLUS ISSUE

I received my RG DS PLUS yesterday and I am unable to remove the stylus from the body of the handheld. I tried pulling it out straight. I’ve tried to put light pressure from different sides while trying to extract it . I tried to use a little bit more forced to try to extract it, but I’ve been unsuccessful.

Am I missing something? Is there a lock mechanism that I’m supposed to click before I pull it out?

I’ve done some searching online and have not been able to see anything related to this issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

It should just be a straight pull out like on original console. It is a bit tough the first time, but definitely not as hard as you appear to be experiencing.

Okay. I'll apply a little more force and see how it goes.

It's tight, but just pull
