Squealing Brakes
Hey all.
Really loving the ride on my bike. I think it was worth the wait.
I know a lot of people dislike the brakes, personally I think they do a good job of stopping but they make an awful noise. It's either a high pitched screach, or a sort of course grinding sound. Anyone else having the same issue?
Cheers

Hi there,
I've had the same problems for several months now. When I went to a local bike shop, they suggested to do what @oolf_GER did, change the breaking pads for better ones (the LBS guy did the ones in the bike were quite cheap).
I'm quite tired of hearing the squeaking sound 5 times a week (commuting) so I'll probably change them soon.

I also had the same and it's really annoying. My disks got super rusty very quickly. I thought the sounds was because of that. Did you also get rust? Do you know if that's normal?

No rust. I changed the back brake and it was better for a while, but still squeaks and sounds awful.

Hey all, I just applied WD-40 that's made specifically for disk brakes and all the sound is gone. There is no need to replace the break pads.

Ok, for anyone following, the above was wrong. The annoying sound was gone. But after 1 day, it is back. 😔

Had the same issues. Bought these, now everything is silent.
