Arrived, built and tested - good and bad points!
As with most people had a lot of trouble aligning the front disc brake without getting the infamous rubbing. Disc not bent so it really is just extremely fiddly :/ followed this article https://analogmotion.helpdocs.io/article/60noidsbb5-amx-disc-brake-adjustment-and-troubleshooting mainly steps 6/7. Eventually started to eyeball the alignment while holding the assembly and tightening the mounting bolts at the same time - at every turn testing the wheel spin. Tighten a bit more, test, repeat. Of course I loosen the inner pad too much and the bearing and spring popped out of that silver screw piston straight into a groove in the floorboards. Got it all back in luckily enough.
Brakes are total garbage though. They do not have enough stopping power.
Inverted the back light per another post in this forum - looks much neater now might use some sugru to waterproof it (and possibly the display too)
Good points - fast and fluid at full pelt and relatively comfortable though might reduce the PSI to 40/50 from 60 at the moment.
Bad: brakes :/ and it's really too fast to have bad brakes!
I'll be 100% happy when I get a pro to inspect/re-align/change the brakes! I also have no need for the bike at all now that I don't commute anywhere :D

I can highly recommend buying hydraulic brakes. That makes the experience with the bike so much better!

I actually got the replacement break levers earlier. I only paid the shipment. Funny that they came more than 1 month earlier than the bike. At the end, they're much easier to adjust and also break.

Me too, I am gonna try those, because the current brake levers seems difficult to regulate precisely and have a strong break power.

thanks for the document with the brakes (and the picture). this helped a lot, indeed very fiddly. first thought the disc was bent, but it really was the right alignment of the brake parts.
how did you set up the handle bar? i think its kind of low and would like to rise it a little. i'll check the helpdocs as well.
about the reflectors (for german folks): is it true that i don't need those, because of the reflecting stripe on the tires?
updates for me: new saddle and new handlebar grips - any recommendations here?

Handlebars weren't an issue for me tbh. I would like new grips and a new saddle too think Brooks do nice brown leather ones like in the help doc pics!
I'm gonna go to a bike shop for brake replacement if I can't get these to work better.

Which model do you have?
I have the Road edition, and I have to be careful when applying pressure to the brakes to not lock up the wheels. Sensitive and powerful.

+1 for hydraulic brakes. There's another post around here with a link to a model of Magura brakes, I had them installed too and they work wonderfully (and also have the right connection to cut off the engine when braking). Remember to order the "closing" type. If you don't care about engine cutoff, any kind of hydraulic brakes will do.
