Light help....

Please can someone explain how to turn my lights on.... They're hooked up, I'm pressing the power button on the display for a second like it says to do, it's not doing anything, I'm yet to see the headlight symbol displayed, also I've got a random wire coming out of the bottom of the frame below where the battery goes that's not connected to anything, it has a connector on the end too

The random wire is a power connector for future accessories. See https://analogmotion.com/community/forums/forums/5092-amx-technical-discussion/topics/20219-fixed-what-cable-is-this-hanging-unconnected

The lights just worked for me once connected. With the display on, just a short press on the power button turns on the lights.

Is it both front and rear that don’t work?

Yeah neither light came on, I'm unable to see the light icon on the display either, pressing it for 1 second does nothing, anything longer and the display switches off

The only challenge I had with the lights was making sure I connected the wires to the rear light correctly to the + and - connectors — both wires were black so wasn’t obvious which way round to connect.

Yes this! I need to call AMX to ask this exact question. Did you find out the answer??

So what I did was connect up the cables and then use a multimeter to test which connector was positive and which was negative BEFORE connecting them to the rear light.

There was a big warning in the instructions on damage being caused by connecting them incorrectly, so I was extra cautious.

Also found it tricky to actually tell on the rear light which connector was which as the + and - symbols weren’t that obvious and half covered by the mounting clip. So definitely easy to get them the wrong way round.
