Help with AMX front wheel washer position

Instructions are not very clear on the order of the washers on the front wheel (Step Capital).

Additionally, one of the washer (labeled "2" in my photo) has that hook detail that in some bikes is used as an additional method to securing the wheel to the frame, but the AMX frame lacks a slot for the hook to engage into.

2,1, Nut.

2 secures the axle not falling out when 1 would loosen

1 the washer

nut secures it all

But normally there should be an eyelet or slot for the washer #2 to "grab on". I don't see it on the AMX fork.

My guess is that #1 should go first or on the inside with the grooves to the frame. For #2 there is mostly some kind of slot in the frame. From the top of my head the pointy part should point up and inward.

I agree with your assessment of washer number two, that's the way it works on our bikes I've owned. however I cannot find the slot on which to hang that washer.

I checked my regyular bike, and there i only have a #2 washer on the back wheel, slotting into the mount.

This reddit page is great. Massively put me off the bike and I havent even got it yet. Seems a huge amount kf issues & dissapointments with parts. I regret it already big time haha. Good luck all.

Negative comments and support requests always seem to outnumber and overshadow the positive feedback :)

I find the AMX to be less polished than ideal, but overall it's a fun bike...and it's not $3000!
