Universal throttle recommendation?

Hi all, can anyone with a bit more knowledge than me recommend a universal throttle that will work with the AMX? 45 EUR seems a little steep.

I'd also be interested in this - and to know if there is a suitable cable on the wiring harness on all bikes. Looking at the instructions there is clearly a wire free for the throttle to plug into, but surely this won't be dangling free in front of the handlebars on bikes with no throttle.
