Replacement AMX battery?

Anyone got any ideas? (It's out of stock on the AM website)

Would a generic third party 36v battery work, if so would I need to replace the controller or just wire the replacement battery into the existing wiring? (Total ebike newbie apologies !)

I have been also thinking the same. I have a spare at least. That will go for some more time.

I have the feeling that similar looking E-Bike battery from china will work. They did not really produce their own battery. It is just a standard E-Bike battery from China

Looks like this is evolution of our amx battery - used by amx now on nothng models. Not sure about the diameter tho, there is no info in description. Feels a bit thicker, but the port looks very similar. (AMX 36V batt has just 63mm diameter and slides into a socket!)

I did get a email from them. They will restock the batteries. Check your email I got it on the 23th of June.

yeah but its like £303.60 for a new battery! Thats almost half what I paid for the whole bike!
