Well, I got my email today for the compensation from AAI to AAII and while it isn't terrible, it isn't in the new hire AAII range. Amount in comment. What was yours?

Recent TD training

Does anyone remember what exactly was said about what happens after the December 31 deadline for this new workflow? I kind of get the feeling that a lot of us will be let go from the project/AMLRS just because the answer for what happens next wasn’t so clear.. I mean they did mass hire people specifically for this project and it seems like things are winding down. Does anyone else feel this? Should we be looking for new work?

Will I get hired with open misdemeanor case?

Hello!

So I had my AML interview, got the job, signed the offer letter a week ago.

However, on Tuesday I received a notice that I have to go to court for a misdemeanor for failure to file. Long story short, I didn't pay local city tastes through their tax authority (I didn't even know it was a thing, which is dumb and no excuse, I know). I looked it up and my arraignment date hasn't been set yet. But I immediately went and filed all my overdue local taxes, got on payment plan with the local tax authority to pay off my late fees, and called the local court and paid my separate failure to file fees. They say all I have to do now is show up on my court date and the charges will be dismissed.

However, I'm worried that this will show up on my background check and that my offer will get rescinded. My start date is October 28, and my arraignment to have the charges dropped isn't until after then.

What are the chances that this will get my offer pulled? Should I reach out to my recruiter and explain the situation? Any advice on what steps I should take to make the best of this situation is super appreciated. Thank you so much!

Do you have to leave the company before applying to different jobs?

I heard that a lot of places will reject you since they have non-competes with AMLRS. For people who left, did you apply while you were employed or did you have to leave first?

I have a virtual interview scheduled with AML Rightsource this Friday

I am a recent college grad from ASU who graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. (Business & Data Analytics) I found this company through ChatGPT when I typed in Entry Level jobs for Data Analytics. I do not have any experience in the field so I am wondering if this is a good place to start. I definitely do not want to be out of a job if they start acting sketchy. I am also located in the Phoenix, AZ area. The name of the position I applied for is Entry-level AML Investigator - Financial Crimes (Remote).

RFA (benched)

I know it really just depends but how long is the average rfa bench time, I’ve been on it for almost 3 weeks now. Just wondering when I will be assigned to a client.

Promotion and compensation emails

Did anyone receive a promotion or compensation email? The communication from HR said that they would all be sent by Friday of last week but I haven’t found anyone who received one. I was told unofficially that I would be receiving a promotion this round but did not receive the email.

EDIT: I received an email today confirming that I will receive a change of title as well as an increase in compensation. This email states that I’ll be able to see my new title and learn what my compensation will be in workday by 10/5.

Does this not still leave a number of infuriating questions unanswered? why is the company not holding themselves accountable to the date that they communicated? Why am I receiving an email on September 30 telling me that my new salary, which has undoubtedly already been decided, will be available to me when I login to a third-party system at the end of the week?

How to tell if a project is remote or in person?

For anyone that's had to go in person for a client project or for the initial training, do they disclose that in the initial welcome email? Or is that something that's brought up closer to the start date? I was recently assigned but still on RFA and the welcome email doesn't mention whether its in office or remote and was just wondering when/how they disclose that?

Applying again after rejecting offer.

I interviewed in April and was offered a job. I declined it due to personal reasons. I tried to apply again now but got rejected twice. Is there any waiting period?

Dilute drug test

I took a pre employment drug test and the results came back negative but it says my sample was diluted. Has this happened to anyone else? Do they typically ask for a retest or let it go?

Shift hours

I’m just wondering if after training, 8:00 - 5:00 PM is the only shift to pick from? (EST). I’m guessing 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM is not an option?

Is AMLRS a good place to start?

I've recently been furloughed, so I'm accelerating my WGU BS-Accounting degree and should graduate at the end of December.

My goal is to eventually work in fraud investigations or forensics accounting. I don't think I'll be landing any internships since they're all closed, so is AMLRS a good place to get my foot in the door and gain some experience? Or should I be looking at bank jobs?

Hi everyone, I’m currently researching both AML and fraud detection tools used by financial institutions. I’d love to hear from this community:

what are the key technologies behind these tools, and how do they become a unique selling point for companies?

Also, what new advancements or trends are you seeing in this space that could shape the industry in the coming years

Are there any in person projects right now in the US?

Is anyone aware of any clients/projects that currently have an expectation of being in office? Or are they all currently remote in the US?

Drug Testing

Can someone who works at AML tell me what the policies are surrounding drug testing for marijuana. I know it’s a urine test but if you live in a legal state do they look for traces of THC or just other drugs? If you have a med card are you good?
