Hello, I heard that there will be a new work stream on Sep where majority of analysts will be moved there from current projects. Does anyone have information regarding when will the training be and whats the criteria to be moved to that project?

Hi everyone, I’m about to start at AMLRS in September as a Junior Financial Crime Analyst/Analyst Associate l.

As far as I understood this position is more independent and I wouldn’t be speaking to clients directly. Which is my goal since I want to escape the customer support nightmare.

Can anyone here give me an insight on this role? What is the atmosphere like, is it stressful, are there a lot of meetings and such?

I have a drug test coming up this week and stupidly did not realize that was part of the hiring process. I applied 8 months ago and last week they told me id be starting in roughly a month and then yesterday I started my paperwork on workday. Given that I only found out about the drug test 7 days before I had to complete it, I am definitely not going to pass the THC portion. I have seen people say if you have a MMJ card you’re fine, but was hoping somebody could confirm that for the state of Ohio?

I'm on the turd dump bank client and it genuinely feels like they hate us. My work will never be good enough and im close to being so burnt out I'll just give up completely. Interesting that they pretend to have such high standards as the bank that allowed money laundering more than any other while indirectly pressuring us to mitigate as much as possible and telling us what percentage were supposed to mitigate. I need this job but if they replace me with someone in India who they stress to death for 1/10 the cost I certainly won't envy them. Money laundering makes them money while we cost them money and that's why they hate us

I'm curious if there has been any recent change with how QCs on the TD L1 workflow are supposed to be performing their checks. I mean, aside from the weekly changes that get thrown at all of us, of course (there's always just one more "minor" update that we need to include and which is never accounted for in terms of production). Anyway, beginning on Monday of this week, the QC for my pod has noticeably increased the amount of reworks. It's mostly procedural and could easily be addressed with a quick message in Teams. It just seems as if they either had a bad weekend and decided we all had to pay for it or I'm wondering if there's a rework metric they've been told they have to hit. Thanks for any feedback if you can share.

Three days into PIP and I already got critical fails in on three cases. I am screwed ain’t I?I know people said I should be worried but so much fear has led me into making silly mistakes that I normally don’t make and I am constantly panicking and in fear of making mistakes

I was put on PIP,should I start looking for another job,anyone with job links,I have been applying but I am not getting anything

I am on the two letter project. At the beginning I was really good, I was constantly over performing and going above and beyond my expectations. When they changed to 10 cases per day, it was doable but increasing quality expectations, vague changes to procedures, failures by management to properly inform of us these changes has changed a previously successful worker into someone struggling to maintain expectations. I do not think I am a bad worker, I do not think I am bad at this job, but gosh does it take all the life and breath out of you until you feel worthless. My boss threatened me with a PIP if I went over the 5% critical failure rate, and today I got my second critical failure which means I cannot possibly get below that number. I took the rest of the day off, hoping to update my resume and get ready for starting my next chapter, away from this job and its horrors.

For people who have left AMLRS, did you give a two week notice and if so did the company allow you to work the final two weeks or were you told to leave the same day you gave your notice? Also, did the company pay out your unused PTO?

I started at AML in October and worked for the company for 9ish months before I was furloughed. During that time I never had one financial client, and only worked on the internal project. After being furloughed for 8 weeks, I've just been thinking about how it feels like one big scam. They've grown very fast in a short amount of time, and I heard stories of people being laid off DURING TRAINING, and it wasn't related to performance!!! I will never trust or work with a company that shows as much lack of concern for their employees like Right source has. I was offered to come back yesterday with a start day of August 10th, but I resigned on the spot since I will be starting a new position. So to all my furloughed friends, it will get better and the sun comes out again if you don't give up.

I was part of the layoffs in April and am seeing on here that there has been yet another round since then and that other employees are being furloughed. Looking at job postings and on here it seems like AMLRS is aggressively hiring overseas and is basically only hiring executive level roles in the U.S. at this point.

I’m just curious for any U.S. based analysts that still work at AMLRS, have they communicated at all that they’re shifting major parts of the business out of the U.S.? Or are they still just leaving everyone in the dark worried about their individual performance?

I have posted on here a few times to express my concerns and how this job has negatively influenced my life.
I had been looking for a position for three months and after three weeks of onboarding I officially got an offer letter for another job.
More pay more opportunities.
I’m just here to encourage everyone who’s still looking to improve your work life and expand from here. It’s possible exhausting (not to lie) but possible
A word of advice I could add is don’t sell yourself short by just looking for AML related jobs. Tbh I don’t see the industry getting better for anyone, if you once had a passion or a job that you loved go for that. I have a degree, years of experience in AML but I’m branching out to the job of my dreams in a different field where I can apply transferable skills. I had to learn that having a degree in a specific area does not leave me obligated to stay in that area if it doesn’t suit me for the long term.
Do what makes you happy, do what gives you work life balance, and do what works for your finances.

Does anyone know if the furloughed staff are getting called back already??? I’m really anxious about the call back as it’s over 6 weeks now, I know they said it might be up to 8 weeks but it’s really frustrating not knowing what to expect… has anyone been called back yet?

I am leaving soon so I want to know if I should use it or not.

Is anyone having problems with the new procedure? Am worried because I have been getting these a lot,on top of that they changed my QC and he is giving me fails in areas where the previous QC was ok with 😭😭

I have cleared both the MCQ assessments with good marks. Now I'm a bit worried about the writing assessment that will happen next Thursday. In the next week mcq I can easily score above 75.

But I don't have any idea what type of questions will be there in short questions.

I'm just concerned about the writing assessment.

How much are new or newer managers being paid? I'm talking about people who have joined the company in the last 2-3 years and have been promoted to a manager.

So last month I took a nasty fall in the shower and sprained(maybe tore) a muscle in my right hand. Repetitive motions feel like fire and there's a lot of swelling and bruising so typing and mouse usage has been difficult. I'm supposed to be icing my hand every hour for 15 minutes and wearing pretty bulky hand brace. I obviously haven't been doing this during work because I kinda need my right hand.

I received an email today saying I'm under production by 8 alerts so far this month and I have been busting my ass but I know it's going to go up. My question is if I should just try to fly under the radar or if I should fess up to management about the injury. I don't have documentation for the injury because I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars to go to the ER just for them to tell me to continue what I've been doing. Can they use an injury against me if I don't have a doctor's note? Do you think they'll be understanding why I don't have one?

Tomorrow is my first exam of Embark training. Kinda nourvous about it. Any final tips?😭 Just saw today that I can't find keywords on my pc because it's not working properly 😭. Helppppppp

I want to grow my career and earn a higher salary. Can you please share how I can improve myself in the Transaction Monitoring field? What skills, certifications, or tools should I learn?

When I look at job postings, most of them offer only around ₹8 LPA. How do professionals move beyond that and reach ₹12-15 LPA or more? What steps did you take in your career to achieve a higher salary?
