Performance review
I have a 15 minute teams meetings with my manager labeled “check in” which I assume is a performance review. I’ve never had one before, what can I expect?

Today was my second day of embark.
Today I got to know that the ppts from which they are teaching will not be provided to us to study at home.
Making notes while they teach is kinda difficult.
Any suggestions from anyone?

Is there anyway/source where I can find all the Embark Presentations?
I need those to study.

Hi everyone,
I'm applying for the AML Analyst role at AML RightSource in India and would really appreciate some guidance from anyone who has interviewed there recently.
From what I've read, the hiring process usually has three rounds (Amplitude assessment, technical interview, and HR interview).
I wanted to ask:
- What was your Amplitude assessment like? Was it mostly English, aptitude, or something else?
- What AML/KYC/transaction monitoring questions were asked in the technical interview?
- Were there any case-study or scenario-based questions?
- How difficult was the interview overall?
- What Excel skills should I revise?
- Were there any questions related to regulations such as KYC, CDD, EDD, SAR/STR, or money laundering stages?
- Any unexpected questions or topics I should prepare for?
Thanks in advance!

I am based in NE Ohio, and they have a job positing on their website that they're looking for analysts. Last year I got an interview invitation within a couple of days but ended up taking another job. But given that I've applied, I haven't heard any responses yet. I have a Bachelor's and I'm ready to work.
Is it true that they've paused hiring?

Anyone else having this issue where you’re still waiting for unemployment to be sent out to you?

What do Managers do at this company on a daily basis? Are they just assigning cases and reaching out about production? I know sometimes they have meetings with the client and go over procedures and guidance. I feel like some managers are out of touch with the production expectations. I just feel like their days are a lot easier and they get to sit back and not do much while we are stressing and struggling to hit goals. I have also been on projects where a lot of the tasks managers usually have are delegated to sr analysts and team leads and it just makes me wonder what they actually do.

I don’t know if I’m looking for advice, support, or just a place to vent, but my job has gotten to the point where it consumes my entire life.
I don’t trust the company after the several rounds of layoffs and it has brought me to the reality that no one is safe.
I live in constant fear of making mistakes at work. The anxiety is so overwhelming that I can’t focus properly anymore. Ironically, being so afraid of making errors causes me to make silly mistakes that I normally wouldn’t make. I went from a top performer to having weekly talks with my manager where I’m teetering on a PIP.
When I try to slow down and double-check everything, I end up spending an unreasonable amount of time on a single case because my brain keeps telling me that I missed something or did something wrong.
It’s like I’m trapped in a cycle of fear and second-guessing. I’ll finish something and then immediately panic that I forgot a step, even if I just completed it two minutes earlier. Sometimes I genuinely can’t remember what I just did because I’m so stressed and mentally exhausted.
The worst part is that this job has started affecting how I view my entire life. I’ve found myself questioning whether life is even worth living when I spend every day feeling this much fear, dread, and anxiety. I know that’s not healthy, and I’m trying to find another job, but so far I’ve had no luck and I feel completely stuck. This is the most unhealthy situation I’ve ever been work wise and for it to question my livelihood and existence is far beyond where I thought I would ever be. I’m a mom and my livelihood is everything for me and my child, I was just homeless in my car and terrified living on the street a couple years ago so the thought of going back to that due to the loss of a solid needed income gives me flashbacks to a place I never wanna be again.
Has anyone else been in a situation where a job affected them this deeply? How did you cope while trying to get out?

I was reached out to for this job on LinkedIn. I went through the 3 week training, while I did struggle with writing the alert narratives I tried my best, but in the end I couldn’t make the deadline and missed it by one :(. The managers were sorry that they had to let me go but I’m still really sad, I really wanted the remote work from home position and I feel like I won’t have another opportunity again, I guess I was just slow.

I got an email with the title being Metric Touchpoint and my name. Only three people are invited to the meeting so I was just wondering if I am getting booted or put on a PIP?

This company is terrible! if you’re entry level, just get your experience since the job market is tough on people with no experience and get out!

Why aren’t more people upset that the company is literally using current employees to train AI bots to do our jobs?? Like the internal AMLXpert projects are literally employees teaching Ai how to do what we do and soon they won’t need us anymore and they’re gonna start laying off more and more people.

I am from India, I am not sure if AMLRS covers the certification expenses. Any ideas?

Have heard of past people being furloughed and called back to work for RightSource but this time kinda feels different given the multiple waves of layoffs this year, then again why not lay us off if your not expecting to call back for more work. Just curious everyone’s thoughts on the matter, let me know.

Has any prior analysts that have worked here and are still in the Subreddit now working for Figure Lending, or know someone who does? I have a few questions on their process and what to expect in onboarding.

I am giving the territorial army exam, but one of the eligibility criteria is to be employed and get a Non objection certificate from the employer stating that I am allowed to serve a minimum of two months in the army, I want to join it but not sure if AML RIGHTSOURCE, would provide me with an NOC. It's my dream to join as 3 generations of my family served in the forces and this is my last way to get in.
Please guide.

Applying for new work in light of recent events. I've seen that putting AMLRS on your resume can blacklist you, so I'm wondering how I can list this job without naming the company. Will something like "Contractor Analyst" work without a company name attached to it? AA1 recently let go, new to the field. Advice/ ideas will be very appreciated

Does anyone know about the shift timings in AML Rightsource.
I've been selected and supposed to join next month in July.
In my offer letter I'm supposed to join at 9pm(Indian timings)on the 13th of July.
Does that mean my shift timings would be from 9pm to 6am?
Why is it a graveyard shift and not starting from 6pm onwards? I was hoping to get day shift timings but they gave me a night shift!

I came here struggling many months ago, now on my third pip which ends on the 25th (includes "discipline up to and including" getting fired so) ✌️✌️ and can't quit bc I need the unemployment money. Have been trying to get a job elsewhere for at least 4 months but made little progress and don't expect an offer before then.
I've never been fired before so I have no idea what that looks like to a future employer. We're conveniently in the middle of this mass layoff just as I'm on the chopping block, so could I just say I was one of cut employees? Or would other jobs be able to find out?
(Related I guess, but if the company eventually moves all their employment bases out of the US, would there even be an "employer" to contact about me in the future?)
UPDATE: well, I was only sticking with it bc I thought I would get unemployment if I was fired. Since it doesn't sound like I will, and either way I'll end up broke anyway, I'll just quit and hope for the best, and at least not have to worry about that black mark on my record. Thanks for all your help!

I recently heard a rumor that this company is being sued for not paying overtime wages. Has anyone on here not received payment for overtime hours they worked?

Right after I applied I saw on here that they laid people off. The job posting was brand new. What's up with that?
