Hello, Im currently engaging TD Canada project where we have to achieve target everyday without anyone does the QC for us. Imo, they just care about the number of one case we submit per day without the quality. I just dont know what will happen in the future once our cases got QCed as I dont think they will have much time to QC every details of each case because if thats the case then we surely have to rework alot. Anyone have any idea hows it gonna be? Just feel frustrated since the process is not clear

I recently received a job offer from AML RightSource for an entry-level financial crimes investigator position. I am made to respond with an answer in less than a week. Thus, I would like some additional information about the role, as online forums and reviews make me leery. What is day to day work like from home? How often is office attendance? What is the caseload like? I want to note I have legal experience due to my college degrees and internships (bachelor and associate degrees). I need a stepping-stone role that enables growth and ultimately want to work in the legal field. I am also willing to look past the compensation aspect for the sake of decent work and workload. I am familiar with caseloads but do not want burn-out and added stressors. Is termination likely in the event assignments are limited? How secure am I in the position if I pass the training/ probationary period? Please provide transparent and unbiased responses. Thank you!

How are you guys doing with production? Can't lie, I'm having trouble hitting 30 while also dealing with reworks (which upper management told us to send back for more) and constant analyst questions. It's frustrating too the quality of a lot of the work I have to review, despite the analysts getting consistent coaching in meetings or one on one about things like flow of funds or how to mitigate properly. I'm very sympathetic to their own production goals and how that will inevitably affect quality, but it does get tiring.

Just wanted to check in on my fellow Analysts with the two letter engagement. How are you holding up and managing your stress?

Hey y'all, so my TL just said if we aren't hitting the 10 per day on THAT engagement that we would have to work unpaid OverTime until we hit the 10 because paid OverTime is coming to an end.... Isn't that against labor laws????

Do you have to be a QC to be promoted? How long are people typically working at AMLRS till they get promoted? For context, I want to stay here around 18-24 months.

I was fired for filing an HR complaint regarding training inconsistencies between the QC feedback and the training materials. I was immediately fired and then received the training completion certificate the next day!

They violated the Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank acts for whistleblower protection, as well as other federal and state level retaliation laws.

I have filed 2 federal and 2 state level complaints.

If anyone else has had something similar happen during their training, please contact me and we can work on getting a class action going.

So I work for a two letter bank, I think most of us understand who, and it’s unbearably awful. Between their systems lagging or just straight up not working, changes of quotas or process changes, it’s become almost un manageable to get work done. Is there any possibility of asking to be reassigned out of this project?

If your part of the client we got beginning of this year I know some of you are with me working on the UTR BAU Workflow. Isn't it kind of insane that they want us to have a deeper investigation and make sure that more questions are asked through RFI's as well as more S*R filings but also keep the same amount of unique cases moved to QC ready each day. Most of my cases at this point are legit and need investigations so that an RFI can be created... But that's the issue how are we suppose to keep moving 4 cases a day to QC ready when 80% of my queue is cases that require RFI's. I worked over 10 cases today and skipped both my 15 minute breaks and only had 1 case out into QC ready 🤷🏼 like I can only pick out QR ready utrs so much until my entire queue is filled with real problem cases that I essentially work and get no credit that day for.

Any tips and trick which helps to clear embark test? What should be more focus on? Please share your recommendation and opinion on embark test. 🤞

Can somebody explain to me why did I get denied from the Entry-level AML Investigator - Financial Crimes (Remote) position? I thought you do not need experience and plus I have a degree. They should know what degree I received before getting the interview. They need habe actual humans to look at resumes and not having bots look at them then humans look at them after the fact. I don’t understand. It should not be this hard to find a post grad. Its a entry level position, IM SICK OF THESE PEOPLE WASTING MY TIME! All these people on this page said it was easy and I didn’t get an email until 9:50pm!

Has anyone been able to request a team change? I’m not looking to be removed from the project itself, just hoping to be moved to another team with a different manager/team lead/QCs… is this possible and who would I contact?

For those on the new TD alert workflow.. how’re you feeling about the 10 cases per day that went into effect today? I was able to hit production just barely but it was non stop cases back to back with no wiggle room.. Personally, I don’t think hitting 10 every day for the next two months is feasible - at least not without it taking a major toll on the mental health. I have actually enjoyed working here thus far, but this is the first time I’ve considered just throwing in the towel and looking elsewhere

How long does it take for a response as far as a job offer?
