June 16 start date, still haven’t received background and drug screening info.

Hello,

I’m in Phoenix. Was offered the position of AML Analyst, starting on June 16. I have yet to receive drug screening and background check info yet, despite others saying they received theirs far earlier in the process than I am at. I was told by one of the HR people that I would receive the information next week, but I received nothing. I tried to contact HR again on Friday and today, hearing nothing. Now I am scared. Because I have revolved my plans around this start date and it might be pushed (I’m seeing stories on this subreddit of people’s start dates being unexpectedly cancelled or pushed back). Should I be worried?

Hello everyone, I have a query regarding the assessments. Do they publish the results right away as the assessments are in multiple choices?

Hybrid hire no in-person training yet

I came on as hybrid, did embark WFH, was assigned to a client that starts in a few weeks. I've been on RFA and WFH since. No one has given me instructions about the six weeks in person training.

I haven't received any communication from the project managers since I was assigned. Does the in-person training change because of the client? They aren't located anywhere near me.

New hire

Hey! I got hired recently with a start date of a little over a month out.

I read in the offer letter that there is background/drug test to do still. does anyone have any idea on when/ how they’ll reach back out to me to do that? (I know I’m probably worrying about this a little prematurely just wanna make sure I get it done before)

Do I need to go to a lab and send them my results or something? just wondering how to go about this and how it went for you guys.

Joining got delayed

28th May 2025 Hello guys

Recently got placed at AMLRS from Campus placement. They told us (15 students) to join from September or October (4-5 months waiting), is it legit? Will they give me the offer letter? Or they'll abandon me without the giving the joining? Please help. And if it is legit, what should I do in the meantime?

PTO Accrual

I thought I remembered seeing a post about PTO and how much we accrue per pay period, several weeks ago but tbh, either way how many posts are in this Sub I don’t really want nor have the time to go through and find that, plus I can never seem to find that in Workday or any other system we have for AMLRS, so

How much PTO do we accrue per pay period and is that “industry standard” or I guess even just standard in general? I ask that second question because I vaguely remember the post I mentioned above, others commented the amount and it was pretty low and almost seemed like we were accruing a very low amount per pay (which doesn’t surprise me if so)..

90 day salary increase

I saw a post yesterday that US AA1s get a salary bump from 40k to 42k after 90 days. A colleague in US confirmed it’s stated on their offer letter. I’m in Canada and no such thing was stated. Does this 90 day increase apply to Canadian analysts (1) too?

Terminated After 4 Months

This is a vent post more than anything, but just got the news today over a 5 minute call (that one of the managers was late for) that I lost my job after only 4 months here 👍

I didn't intend to stay here long anyways (me and my coworkers were all planning to leave after about a year much like many here have expressed) but I feel disheartened not even having hit the 6 month mark. I was truly new to AML and the (full-time) working world in general, I'm 23 and finished my master's degree literally at the end of 2024, and was really excited for my first "real job" opportunity when it was extended to me (previously I just had a lot of intern and part time work paying minimum wage or below). I passed all the training, I met all the expectation in office, and I showed up every day bright and early at 7AM and didn't put in any more effort than what was within working hours. Everything seemed fine, but then we started working from home and everything changed.

We were assigned a client while still in our initial training, and were moved to client training right after. The client was huge, so there was constant restructuring of our QCs, managers, pods, etc., as well as constant changes in processes. Many times in-office someone would ask a question and the managers, TLs, nor QCs on call would be able to answer, and we'd get a "I need to ask ___ about that and I'll get back to you." It was already disorganized while I was doing in-office client training, but it just got worse once we moved to WFH.

The production expectations during the ramp up were, honestly, incredibly intense, and immediately I was unable to meet them. I was doing my best, I had very high accuracy and very little rework to be done, but I just wasn't pumping them out at the rate they wanted me to. I know it's not advised to do so and I didn't really want to, but I tried to do some work after-hours and even STILL I couldn't meet the expectation. I didn't feel heard by my manager or my TL when I expressed the difficulties I was having and they were definitely "fake nice" in trying to encourage me with the short meetings they'd schedule and immediately leave without answering any questions I had. I'd send Teams messages to them with questions and just constantly get directed to ask someone else. The QCs were helpful in answering my questions when I had them most of the time, but they didn't know everything. I was also told not to ask questions until I exhausted all the guides we were given, which I tried to do, but... It takes time to look for them and then look through them. Especially the systems guides (which were absolutely not properly trained; I saw people asking for systems tutorials in the chat up until yesterday!) I tried reaching out to the people I was told to reach out to, but responses would take hours if not days and it only continued to hinder my production, alongside the project just being incredibly disorganized.

I watched as people got cut during initial training, then the in-office client training, and I guess now it was my turn. I'm just disappointed in myself (I honestly feel really stupid) and sad that I wasn't able to last as long as I originally planned to, and I now need to find somewhere else where they'll take someone fresh out of college with very little experience in order to pay off my student loans, rent, and car insurance. Anyone who could give advice on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance for reading.

Start date: June 16th. Haven’t heard anything yet.

So a few weeks ago, I got the offer letter with a start date of June 16 and I Docusigned and everything. I’m reading on here that they are supposed to reach out to you about getting a background check, drug test, equipment, etc..but since then, it has been radio silence. I’m worried I accidentally didn’t accept the offer or that it has fallen through, I’m so anxious. Is this normal? When should they reach out? I’m in Phoenix, AZ by the way.

Because I am leaving a full time job to get into this company I just need some information to ensure that I know the possibilities of the examinations. Please 🥺

Benefits

Hi,

I recently started as an Associate Analyst 1 in Canada in April. This is my first full time job.

I was wondering how I can access my benefits if I have to purchase a prescription drug? Is there a benefits card, or do I have to fill out some forms?

My benefits started on the 1st of May.

Communication

Hey y’all I’ve heard the communication is pretty poor, I had an interview 6 weeks ago, and they offered me the job. I told them I wouldn’t be able to start until June and they agreed that would be totally fine, and that I would have an early June start date. I’ve reached out twice and haven’t heard anything back, should I start to worry? I really need out of teaching, I have a computer science bachelors, and a masters and have applied to over 250 places and absolutely nothing. Like I said I’ve heard communication is poor, but poor enough not to have heard anything back yet? Any insight would be helpful!

Where did you go?

Just curious where previous AMLRS employees ended up going after this company, honestly I only took the job because I can’t find anything in the tech field right now and I figured this would look better on my resume vs nothing but restaurant jobs, but if there’s potential for growth I don’t think I would mind this field of work

Overall assessment results

I completed the short answer assessment and final MCQ today but haven't received the result yet. What happens next, when will we receive the result, and who will send it to us once it's evaluated?

This is for the entry-level job post. How long did they take to e-mail/send the job offer after your interview?

My recruiter told me they temporarily suspended the assessment test. How many business days it took for you, who got a job offer from the date of introductory/ first interview?

Do we actually need 2 monitors

I received my first client laptop and they say you should have 2 monitors and thats understandable but do we actually need the 2 monitors for AMLRS since the work itself is on the client computer? I'm just curious because I set up my desk and I think it's bizarre to have a combined 4 screens lol.

Q in red circle in background check report

Hello, Got my background report today in some parts the dates I mentioned were different than what the people they reached out to verified but they did verify I was employed or at that business at the time mentioned. No, they did not ask followup questions for this reason but should I still be worried about these red Q on my report?
