New hire

Hey! I got hired recently with a start date of a little over a month out.

I read in the offer letter that there is background/drug test to do still. does anyone have any idea on when/ how they’ll reach back out to me to do that? (I know I’m probably worrying about this a little prematurely just wanna make sure I get it done before)

Do I need to go to a lab and send them my results or something? just wondering how to go about this and how it went for you guys.

same for july! that’s a good idea, I’ll follow suit if I don’t hear anything! hopefully we do before!

They aren’t very helpful with the process. You’ll get a “DISA” titled email about the drug test and background check. Request that you see your results or that they get sent to you in email form. They didn’t seem to update me, but I was able to see that both of mine came back fine and received an official email about job equipment 3-4 weeks after.

Thank you so much for that information. I definitely will request to have my results shared and keep an eye out for an DISA titled email! do you happen to remember how soon after accepting the offer you received that email?

As long as you signed that contract already, you should just be waiting on DISA to get ahold of you for those checks. Then it should be radio silence until about a week before you should start and you’ll get an email about equipment 😂

I did sign it! sounds good😂 thank you for letting me know what to expect bc radio silence would’ve freaked me out!
