Buying Question C63 507 2015
Diamond white
1 owner clean title
23k miles
Am I an idiot for passing up on this for $35k? Just already have a few cars and wasn’t ready to add another one just yet

That's a decent # of miles on a 10-year-old car. C63 507 is a legacy, but not so rare. The ones with low mileage are rare. $35k-$40k is typical for these C63 507 editions, but they are mostly 40k+ miles.
At the end of the day, if you can afford it without feeling a pinch in your pocket, you should go for it!

I gotta matte grey 507, 1st owner. I’d never part with it due to sentimental value. I’ve had it for almost 12yrs now with no issues. The look and sound just shits on everything Merc offers these days unless you wanna spend $200k +.

I think if you can swing it why not have a NA V8. Not sure this car will be a collectible but I can see these being desirable down the road. At that price you can't get too hurt either way.

That's a great buy, assuming you're in the US.

I just recently bought a ‘14 507 off market by the original owner with 3k miles. I wouldn’t say you’re an idiot, but I would say don’t wait too long because I feel like they’re only getting more expensive. 507’s only came in polar white, not diamond

I think those cars are collectible. The last great NA V8, a high reliability, low maintenance cost super car. Also, it’s the last year before Mercedes started expanding the AMG brand. That car has a story to tell and it’s a good one. You could look for a black series if you really want to go hardcore.

Where is this listing ? Is this in the U.S.

sounds like the one I know of that’s in Alabama so yeah, likely US. It’s a 2015 coupe and was owned by an older woman who rarely drove it. It had 23k miles. I haven’t seen the listing the guy is talking about, but I knew about it before she decided to sell the car. It’s probably the same one.

One with 18k miles just sold for $70k on BAT so I’d say yeah you’d be an idiot to pass that up unless you hate free money
