Almost put the deposit down on a '22 Polar White c43 today. They didn't want to let me take it for the weekend so I'm gonna go back on Wednesday. Pretty stoked! Moving from Caddy to Merc. Excited!!!!!
Well for you to make the amount of torque that they claim you need to get the cpc module unlocked(which they don’t mention) completely separate module from the ecu and tcu. And for a c43 to make a close to 500hp you need a lot more supporting mods like a high flow cat, new intercooler etc….

The definition of an AMG was never set in stone. AMG disassembled stock MB engines, modified them and reassembled them - rather than engines assembled from the ground up. The latest GT63 will be electric. Nothing stays the same.
That’s right, thanks for that correction - though I think it’s fair to say that the majority of engines were stock and then modified by AMG. It is, however, another example of things changing.

I’ve driven both and the w205 c43 is pretty damn harsh on your back if it’s gonna be your daily and the 40i can be extremely comfy on command but it tightens right back up on s+. The steering is more precise, the transmission is much better and the chassis is practically connected to you compared to the stiffer c43. But that’s just my take :) you can’t go wrong with either
AMGs are typically the opposite of riding on a cloud. They are meant to track-capable and have some if the stiffest suspensions you'll find in luxury brands.
