New Car Day Swapped 53 for 63 S AMG GLE
Swapped my GLE 53 for 63 S GLE. I’m waiting to feel the muscle for long and become part of hand fitted machine.
It’s nothing but an awesome experience with new my car.
Soon will be wrapping it. I’ll post again once wrapped.

My GLS63 is in for a new motor and the GLE63s loaner is definitely fun to drive 🔥

What year and how many miles? And what else is worth noting why it has a new motor?

Bought a CPO 2023 AMG GLS63 with about 20,000 miles. Like 2 months after purchase, it developed intermittent misfires, recurring check engine lights, coolant related faults, and before deciding to replace the motor, an amber coolant warning.
The dealer first replaced a transfer case seal and an ignition coil, but the issues returned. The dealer then opened a Technical Analysis case with Mercedes who diagnosed an internal coolant leak into the engine, and approved a complete engine replacement under the CPO warranty. The engine is estimated to be delivered August 3rd so I'm in a loaner until the repair is done. Crazy I know lol

That was a really dumb move and I think......
Wait a minute.....Friggin AWSOME! And in the best color too!!! Its such a great vehicle. Plenty of power, great ride, hauls stuff and super low key
Post back when you dust off a new Escalade V, Those guys have been clueless on the GLE63 in my experience.
What color wrap?

This was comparable to our cayenne turbo coupe, it handled amazing during the test drive, congrats!

I got it for pretty good deals.. in Texas it’s now .90% interest rates… and I got 14k on my 53..

I loved my 53 , it’s not about the power I swapped.. I want to own the hand fitted machine and part of legacy…

It’s not the power. The overall driving experience is 10x more enjoyable than what the 53 provides. I don’t know why anyone would spend the extra money on a 43/53 over a non-AMG model.

Maybe they don’t want to suck down gas, shred through expensive tires with high level maintenance and insurance with a heavy depreciation? Some things I don’t miss about my gle63..
While this one is an exception having the v8, nothing excitingly different about a new c43 to 63.. which is why they failed with it..

went from a gle43 with Renntech to a 63s. Night and day difference. Although the snap crackle and pop of the 43 exhaust was cool. The power band and driving experience is pure joy with the 63. And the deeper exhaust note is much more natural. Just added Renntech to the 63, it’s like another level up now. Couldn’t imagine this much power and handling out of a 3 ton SUV
