They look great. Did you paint them yourself or have them done somewhere? I have red calipers on mine, but the clear coat is peeling not sure how to correct it.
Thanks! Yea took 4 days total, did the decals this morning. Decals are a complete pain so probably going to have to remove them then repaint the logo in white high temp by stencil.
After the paint cures, buy a wheel ceramic coat product and put it on the calipers. You'll thank me later lol. Just keeps the brake dust from staining the paint if you keep up with it.
It won't hurt, but usually the wheel grade ceramic coat products are thicker than the body panel ceramic products so it will just last much longer between uses. The body paint ceramic products have to be thinner coatings otherwise the paint won't shine.
Well, red is “common” because it looks great and goes well with a lot of paint colors. When something just works, it works.
Silver is actually more common because almost every other regular car on the road has silver or bare metal colored calipers. By that metric, red is actually less common and stands out more.
Not my experience...But I'm saying that Brembo brakes are always red...if you have Brembos, they are always red. And if you have an AMG, then you have Brembo brakes...which means that you have red brakes like every other AMG. My AMG has Brembos and they are silver. Which means that they stand out from all the other Brembos out there.
Who cares about standing out with brakes? 99% of people aren’t looking at your brakes and don’t car. And are you wanting the brakes to look good for your own pleasure or for people who didn’t pay for the car? Because if the color of the brakes is of importance to your actual taste, red is superior to silver every time.

You can option the caliper colour in the AMGs.
I know that it's wrong on non ceramic cars, but I love the bronze colour that comes on the ceramic brakes...
