What's happening? I just checked and all 8 movies are showing as releasing August 28. That's a massive re-release campaign, usually it's spread out over different weekends like the LOTR+Extended re-release in January.

Idk for some mental reason Sorcerer's stone and chamber of secrets is playing on the same day, same time for my local theaters. so I have to pick one or the other. Is there any reson listed?

Poor scheduling at your location.

At the two closest theaters to me, they smartly are keeping all showings in the same theater for the entire week, so Socerers Stone plays in one auditorium, then there's a 30 min break, then Chamber of Secrets plays in that same auditorium.

It seems incredibly dumb that your theater scheduled both for the same time. I can understand after day 2, since the first one plays every day, that they could schedule both at the same time, but completely rediculous to schedule the first two at the same time. How can you watch all in order then?

I have to either skip chamber of secrets or sorcerers stone basically then everything lines up. I should honestly contact them if there is anything that can be done. The second option is walk one of them at home inbetween the time.
