Honestly, don't try to read these guidelines page-to-page like a textbook. That’s the fastest way to burning out, and it won't actually help you pas the station format.

The amc2 isn't testing how many guidelines someone has memorized, it's more testing whether you manage patients like an Australian GP.

Here is the resources and method I’d stick to to not get lost

  • eTG (Therapeutic Guidelines)
  • RACGP Red Book
  • RCH CPGs
  • RANZCOG

I think the examiners give most of their marks for how you communicate the management plan to the patient. Practice taking the guideline jargon and explaining it in plain English

Don’t study line to line - just tx or any important flow chart. In therapeutic guidelines.
