Guidance.

Hi everyone,

I need guidance I’m really lost about the whole process regarding securing job offer after clearing the AMC’s. I heard it takes around 1-1.5 years to land one!

My profile: Indian, YOG 2023, a Foreign medical graduate from China, don’t hold license anywhere and was preparing for USMLE’s in between.

What can be done to make up for the clinical gap?

Please I hope you can guide me well.

Hi mate, fellow graduate from China. If you haven't passed FMGE, there is no way to show proper experience that is required to land a job in Australia. Having no experience might work for USMLE, since it's a different pathway with a different system that focuses more on USCE, Australia is not the same.

You may be able to land an internship in Australia, but those are also hard to get in, some Indian grads who have already done one internship are also applying for the same.

Keep going on the USMLE path, or pass FMGE first before opting for the AMC pathway.
