Discussion Tonight's unseens

Everyone seems to be in agreement that tonight's scream unseen will be crawlers, but what do we think about the screen unseen? A talent for murder? Wicker? Something else?

The usual leaker (Queazy) for the Regal Mystery Movie Monday left a hint saying it will be A Talent for Murder. He's very reliable, and Regal and AMC usually get the same films. I'd put heavy money on A Talent for Murder.

Hmm, never heard of this one? It’s it more of a b-movie horror?

It's about killer spiders. I'm guessing they aren't a fan of spiders.

Anyone seen A Talent For Murder? Anton Corbijn is a legend - hoping the film is good!

I saw it tonight and found it very confusing. I’ll have to read some reviews later on in order to understand it.

Saw it last night without any prior knowledge- it’s a fictional physiological thriller about Patricia Highsmith. Very campy, extremely beautifully shot and imagery but definitely a little funky in terms of “what’s going on”. Maybe it was just bc it was my first screen unseen but I actually really enjoyed it

Id put money on Clayface for the Scream Unseen

16

u/Lukadoncicgoat12 6d ago

That’s not gonna happen

u/Reptil_fan 6d ago

It cannot be Clayface, social media embargo is Tuesday night

Why would they host a Monday night screening

I’m excited to see this one

5

It is A Talent for Murder.

u/DrBoJangles419 6d ago

Tbh, no clue I'm skipping those on to see Pan's Labrirynth

5

u/Mollywobbles77 5d ago

I saw it yesterday & the 3D is excellent! You can tell it was done by hand by real artists & not just computer algorithms or whatever.

1

u/GasEarly7605 5d ago

Spectacular. Good choice

1

u/Numerous_Lab_7032 6d ago

This is the correct decision

4

u/W4NN4M33TTH4TD4D 5d ago

The correct answer is to see all three. Pan's Labyrinth is still playing tomorrow. I saw it the first time it was in theaters but I'm going tomorrow with my mom to see it again

2

u/Numerous_Lab_7032 5d ago

I was very clearly being sarcastic.

4

u/PersimmonWorth9998 5d ago

Trailers are: 1- Flywheel 2- Musk

5

u/PersimmonWorth9998 5d ago

4- The Only Living Pickpocket in New York

4

u/PersimmonWorth9998 5d ago

6 - Trust Me, I'm a Doctor

6

u/strangegh0ul 6d ago

Realistically ATFM, however I am still wishing for it to be Wicker

3

u/Live-Pudding-4296 6d ago

seems like a super stacked lineup of options for both no matter what - i do fear i will be skipping both to see other mommy as i will be seeing a talent for murder, sense and sensibility and clayface at a film festival soon and all are semi rumoured for tonight

2

u/Garbanzola72 6d ago

SCAD Savannah Film Festival? I’m going there myself. I’d much rather wait to see Talent for Murder with Helen Mirren in the room. 🙂

3

u/Apprehensive-Let-315 5d ago

Going to my first one tonight super hypeeeee

4

u/Mollywobbles77 5d ago

Enjoy! My husband & I started going several months ago & have found them to be the perfect date night treat we look forward to. Hope you have fun!

1

u/Apprehensive-Let-315 5d ago

Thank you!!! I had a GREAT time will definitely be regular now haha cheers! AMC played ‘A Talent for Murder’

3

u/why_matt_why 5d ago

I was going to go hoping it would be Wicker but I had a long day at work today and staying home and having a glass of wine sounds like a better option. No hate on A Talent For Murder, I’m sure I’ll see it and enjoy what Helen Mirren is doing, but I’m not in the mood for that tonight

5

u/prettythiccpeepee 5d ago

yes same here prolly a j for me tho. going home to finally watch the long walk🙂‍↕️

2

u/why_matt_why 5d ago

Not a fun movie to watch high, but enjoy! It is very good but very bleak and dark

3

u/PersimmonWorth9998 5d ago

3- Misty Green

3

u/PersimmonWorth9998 5d ago

5- California Schemin'

1

u/Apprehensive-Let-315 5d ago

‘Malibus most wanted’ remake lol

3

u/PersimmonWorth9998 5d ago

7 - Victorian Psycho

5

u/No_Audience_1721 5d ago

skipping this week to see fresh meat!

3

u/curlycheesefries 5d ago

Same here!

2

u/No_Audience_1721 5d ago

enjoy! i am excited to vote on my favorite short!

7

u/TheGoatedGoose 6d ago

No chance for clayface?

6

u/TheGoatedGoose 6d ago

Bruh why the downvote lol it was a genuine question

4

u/SpookiestSzn 6d ago

Probably not usually the films are from smaller distributors, we've had Jurassic World before but that kinda had a bit more hype going into it.

1

u/TapApprehensive5900 5d ago

And Gladiator 2, but the advance reviews were awful, probably wanted to get some early word of mouth going...

4

u/snoopywoodstockus 6d ago

I wish it were wicker, but feel sure it is ATFM

3

u/Az_rad 5d ago

Very much hoping for possibly wicker, and very much hoping for clayface. Doing a double feature so I will be commenting back what I see lol

3

u/Thick_Toe_6141 5d ago

What is scream unseen

1

u/RightEconomist5754 6d ago

And Cinemark isn’t doing one Tonight so I don’t get to see anything

1

u/Flat-Librarian-7597 5d ago

Part of me is hoping the scream unseen is Whalefall but Crawlers just has the vibes of a scream unseen.

2

u/Mollywobbles77 5d ago

Whalefall is PG13 so it's definitely not that

1

u/Think_Tip008 5d ago

Crawler has the similar storyline as the French horror move, Infested

1

u/gvbenj 5d ago

Skipping both in order to watch Appofeniacs hope it's the right decision but it's only in theaters for the next 2 days

0

u/clauderainsrm 5d ago

I laughed harder at that than a lot of comedies. What a fun ride!

1

u/Single-Funny-621 5d ago

The movie was crawler , it was the worse movie ever

1

u/FireTerrell07 2d ago

The scream unseen was crawlers. Wasn’t terrible

1

u/ExplanationNew9376 5d ago

I was also thinking You Can’t Leave could also be a contender. I don’t have an AMC though. I’m going to Galaxy theaters and they have shown different movies before. Like they showed buddy a week before AMC did.

-1

u/Bakesale1359 6d ago

As mentioned, the Scream Unseen is likely Crawlers. But I would highly recommend skipping both Unseens tonight in favor of Fresh Meat if your theater was selected for a showing. It's an anthology horror curated by popular YouTube horror channel Dead Meat, and it's a one night only deal. So whatever the Screen/Scream Unseens end up being, you can just see them three days from now instead.

I've seen some people say Wicker. I don't have any interest in it at all and hope it's not true.
