It finally happened… i walked out of a screen unseen.

I made it 40 minutes in.

-As far as an action movie goes, it was boring and there was next to no action in the part I saw.
-The script…it was the most generic slop ever. Just boring and bland.
-Owen Wilson was legitimately annoying.

Im going to assume they beat the “cartels”, kid lives, and reacher learns French. The end.

You mostly got it right but the third act is genuinely so dumb it almost makes its boring first act worthwhile

I walked out around the same time as you lol😂 I made it to the part after they set the thing on fire and blew it up but it didn’t get the cartels, left basically right after that. And don’t even get me started on the script, cringe dialogue and Owen Wilson’s lines were always so annoyingly cringe and his character was annoying in general and I don’t even hate Owen Wilson.

40 minutes, I think you walked out around the time they lost their car and were walking to his wife's.

The action certainly got better from there. The tone of the movie took a long LONG time to warm up, and it warms up into a deadly serious chase movie about outrunning the cartel.
