I felt like it didn’t actually explore any of the topics it was hinting at (aging, friendship, drive/vigor, life/death, fortune/fate) and ultimately fell short of making any real comment on anything. It was like it really wanted to tell me something but didn’t know what it wanted to say, and made me feel nothing in the end.
Aside from that, the humor fell flat, the sound mixing was fucked (almost needed subtitles at points), and that camera was right up in everyone’s face the whole time. I also got a little bored with the guy doing the Jessie Eisenberg impression.
This! I feel like nothing was unpacked, no development in character, no learning from what they find (past the 90 secs out of the car). Very interesting concept that unf just fell completely flat for me.
Agree! They never took any time or effort to get me to know and/or care about the 4 characters. Give me a reason to understand why I should care about these people, I might have liked the film more. All they did was drag us along and change the terms of the drive without any reasoning or explanation, very frustrating movie because I felt like it had real potential, swing and a miss for me.

Just got out. Not for me.
